TRINITY'S MISSIONARY SUPPORT

Trinity Reformed Church believes it is important to carry out the command of Christ to make disciples of all nations.  We support several missionaries who work in various places around the world on behalf of Jesus Christ.

Through the Reformed Church in America, we support a medical doctor who works in the villages of India.  Several of his patients are stricken with AIDS.  Along with his medical work, his wife carries out a ministry of training women to be self-supporting, making jewelry and other items. Their service to the poor gives witness to the love of Jesus Christ for all.

Bill and Dorie Mayes work with Wycliffe Bible Translators.  Bill is a computer specialist using his gifts in that area to maximize the work of the ministry overall.

Phil and Sharon Westhuis work for CLC Bookcenter which specializes in the distribution of Christian Literature to various need areas around the world.  They are based in Northfield, N.J.

Ryan Hull is serving in the Philippines with an organization called Go to the Nations. He is working on community development and leadership training.

Jill Vande Zande is with Intervarsity Christian Fellowship and is serving college students on the campus of Bakersfield State University in California.

Along with our support for specific missionaries, we annually send funds to Reformed Church World Service, now known as World Renew, to help with disaster relief.
